How Does the Game Compare to the Concept?

Unfortunately, due to time restraints some features had to be culled. The original plan was to have a timer for each level to add urgency, however this did not end up being implemented due to lack of time. Also, I originally planned on allowing a player to build up insane amounts of speed using their dash (like in Celeste with hyper dashing), though due to struggles with the Unity physics engine I was unable to get this to work as I desired and instead have a constant speed dash. Although the game does not contain all of the proposed features I am really happy with the outcome.

How to play
The aim of the game is to find as many pages of your homework as possible by precisely jumping and dashing your way to school. Each of the four pages are hidden amongst the 3 levels for you to find! Based on how many you find you will receive a grade upon reaching the school.
Controls
Movement
A and D to move left and right & S and W for 8 way direction dashing

Dash
Left Shift + Directional Input

Jump
Spacebar (holding will increase height of jump)

Wall Jump
Whilst on the wall press Jump + directional input

Dash Reset
Jump / Dash into glowing diamonds to get an extra dash!

Collect Pages
Run into pages to collect them!

Complete Levels
Progress to the end and enter the portal to the next level!

Win!
Progress through all levels and make it to school to get a grade!

Don't Die (3 times)
Or you will be sent to the beginning!
